Jose M. Diaz | Northwest Regional Director
Jose Diaz was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. He departed in October of 2006 to serve in the United States Coast Guard. During his eight-year military career, Jose was instrumental in performing numerous maritime law enforcement and search and rescue activities throughout our nation’s shores. Upon concluding his military career, Jose attended the University of California, Berkeley, earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
Since moving back to Northwest Indiana, Jose has continued his career by serving as a congressional staff appointee in the Office of US Senator Todd Young. In this capacity, he serves as the key liaison to municipal and state government, local businesses, civic organizations, economic development partners, and constituent groups throughout 10 counties.
Along with his public service responsibilities, Jose also serves in various volunteer roles for nonprofit organizations such as the United Way of Northwest Indiana, Paladin Inc., his local American Legion Post, and YMCA.
