Founded in 1978, Reins of Life is a nonprofit organization that provides equine-assisted therapy for children and adults with disabilities. Today, the organization serves more than 450 individuals each month through two centers, offering programs to residents of 11 counties in Indiana and Michigan.
Janik will discuss the mission of Reins of Life and the transformative impact of equine-assisted services on individuals with physical, cognitive, social, and emotional challenges. Participants will learn how therapeutic riding and other equine-assisted activities help improve confidence, independence, mobility, and quality of life.
