In recognition of Mental Health Month, Lisa Kelly, Executive Director of Mental Health Awareness of Michiana (MHAM), will highlight the organization’s mission and community impact while exploring key mental health challenges facing Northern Indiana. Drawing on more than 30 years of experience in clinical social work and nonprofit leadership, Kelly will discuss gaps in access to care, the continued impact of mental health stigma, and the importance of cross‑sector collaboration. The presentation will emphasize how partnerships among social services, education, healthcare, and faith communities can strengthen local support systems and promote a more inclusive, responsive mental health landscape.
