Voter Eligibility Requirements

• Be a citizen of the United States; and

• Be at least 18 years old on the day of the next general or municipal election; and

• Have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days before the next general election [except for certain military workers]; and

• Not currently be in prison after being convicted of a crime.

• Find information about the next election at DemocracyNet. This site allows you to enter your zip code and get a list of the candidates in your districts.
