League Officers Attend Conference on High School Voter Registration

League Co-President Lisa Plencner and Vice President Elizabeth Bennion
recently attended a conference in Washington, D.C., on a new high school
voter registration initiative. They joined representatives from several other
local and state Leagues and from other national organizations, including Rock
the Vote, Project Vote, and Vota Latino. High school voter registration will
be a key project for LWV South Bend Area in 2011-12. Visit often for more
